The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पुष्पार्घ्याचमनीयैर्मां पूजयित्वोपविश्य सः ।
मध्ये कथायां कस्यांचिदपृच्छत्प्रणयादिदम् ॥ ७ ॥

puṣpārghyācamanīyairmāṃ pūjayitvopaviśya saḥ |
madhye kathāyāṃ kasyāṃcidapṛcchatpraṇayādidam || 7 ||

The prince hailed and adored me with offerings of flowers and presents, made me sit by him with due reverence; then in the course of my conversation with him, he fondly asked me as follows.
