The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
अनादिनिधनं ब्रह्म नित्यमस्त्येतदव्ययम् ।
आदिमध्यान्तता नास्ति नाकाराः परमाम्बरे ॥ २२ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
anādinidhanaṃ brahma nityamastyetadavyayam |
ādimadhyāntatā nāsti nākārāḥ paramāmbare || 22 ||

Vasishtha replied:—The great God Brahma, is without beginning and ever existent and without decay; there is no beginning, midst nor end of him, nor are there any shapes of figures in his transcendent vacuum.
