The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अदृष्टपूर्वदूरस्थदृश्यमानपुरोपमम् ।
इति ते सर्वमाख्यातं बोधितोऽसि निरन्तरम् ॥ १४ ॥

adṛṣṭapūrvadūrasthadṛśyamānapuropamam |
iti te sarvamākhyātaṃ bodhito'si nirantaram || 14 ||

The visionary city of the world that appears in our waking state, is but a waking dream or an apparition of our minds, and appears as the prospect of a distant city before us, that we never saw before.
