The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.145.27

स्वेदमुष्णीकृताब्धिं वा स्विन्नं त्रैलोक्यमण्डलम् ।
क्षरत्क्षाराण्यरण्यानि प्रतर्दगहनान्यपि ॥ २७ ॥

svedamuṣṇīkṛtābdhiṃ vā svinnaṃ trailokyamaṇḍalam |
kṣaratkṣārāṇyaraṇyāni pratardagahanānyapi || 27 ||

The seas are seen with their boiling waters, and turning to beds of hot mire and mud; the horizon is filled with sultry winds, and the forests with flying ashes, while the deserts appeared quite desolate all about.
