The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पतन्तीभिः सुरस्त्रीभिर्द्विगुणाग्निशिखालवः ।
पतदङ्गारधारौघकणसीकरदन्तुरः ॥ ८ ॥

patantībhiḥ surastrībhirdviguṇāgniśikhālavaḥ |
patadaṅgāradhāraughakaṇasīkaradanturaḥ || 8 ||

The gods and goddesses, were falling down as flames of fire; and the abode of the celestials, were melted down in showers of fire.
