The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तापस उवाच ।
अथ यस्य प्रविष्टोऽहं हृदये सोऽभवन्निशि ।
सुषुप्तघननिद्रालुराहारपरितृप्तिमान् ॥ २० ॥

tāpasa uvāca |
atha yasya praviṣṭo'haṃ hṛdaye so'bhavanniśi |
suṣuptaghananidrālurāhāraparitṛptimān || 20 ||

The ascetic said:—Then I had entered into his heart, it became all dark to me as night; and he fell into a sound sleep, from his satiety with the fulness of his food.
