The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स एष मन्दारवनावतंसो दोलाप्सरोगेयविसारिवातः ।
क्वचिन्मणिद्योतविचित्रचित्रः संदृश्यते व्योमनि मन्दराद्रिः ॥ ४८ ॥

sa eṣa mandāravanāvataṃso dolāpsarogeyavisārivātaḥ |
kvacinmaṇidyotavicitracitraḥ saṃdṛśyate vyomani mandarādriḥ || 48 ||

Behold there Mandara mountain touching the sky, and crowning the forest with its lofty ridges; here the winds are wafting the cradle chimes of Apsara nymphs, and there the mountainous mines gemming in various hues.
