The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तृणवृक्षलतागुल्मवल्लीनां स्तम्भनाडिषु ।
मृद्वलक्षितमारूढं तवाङ्गेष्विव यूकया ॥ ११ ॥

tṛṇavṛkṣalatāgulmavallīnāṃ stambhanāḍiṣu |
mṛdvalakṣitamārūḍhaṃ tavāṅgeṣviva yūkayā || 11 ||

These waters are incessantly gliding on, bearing upon them loads of grass and straw, and bushes of plants and shrubs and trunks of trees; which float upon them, as the bugs and leeches crawl and creep on your body.
