The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.84.9

वडवाग्निशिखाकाराच्छोष्याच्छुष्केति कथ्यते ।
चण्डित्वाच्चण्डिका प्रोक्ता सोत्पलोत्पलवर्णतः ॥ ९ ॥

vaḍavāgniśikhākārācchoṣyācchuṣketi kathyate |
caṇḍitvāccaṇḍikā proktā sotpalotpalavarṇataḥ || 9 ||

She is represented with a crest of submarine fire on her head, and to be dry and withered in her body; she is said to be a fury on account of her furiousness, and called the lotiform from the blue-lotus-like complexion of her person.
