The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आत्यन्तिकी विरसता यस्य दृश्येषु दृश्यते ।
स बुद्धो ना प्रबुद्धस्य दृश्यत्यागे हि शक्तता ॥ ३६ ॥

ātyantikī virasatā yasya dṛśyeṣu dṛśyate |
sa buddho nā prabuddhasya dṛśyatyāge hi śaktatā || 36 ||

Whoso is known to have his utmost indifference to the visibles, is capable of knowing the invisible spirit; but the unenlightened soul, is incapable to forsake and forget the visibles.
