The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

गर्वेण गिरणायाशु दूरतोजनसेवितः ।
कामैः समन्ततो दन्तवितानितयवाङ्कुरः ॥ ४७ ॥
garveṇa giraṇāyāśu dūratojanasevitaḥ |
kāmaiḥ samantato dantavitānitayavāṅkuraḥ || 47 ||
It is afraid of pride, as a forester in dread of dragon coming to devour him; and it fears the appetites, which with their open mouths and bloody teeth, threaten to ingulph it in ruin.
