The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ज्ञानज्ञेयज्ञप्तिमुक्तं दृषन्मौनमिव स्थितम् ।
शान्तान्तःकरणाः स्वस्थाः शिलापुत्रककोशवत् ॥ ४२ ॥
jñānajñeyajñaptimuktaṃ dṛṣanmaunamiva sthitam |
śāntāntaḥkaraṇāḥ svasthāḥ śilāputrakakośavat || 42 ||
All knowledge, knowable and knowing, are said to be quite mute and silent in their nature (being confined in the mind); therefore it behoves you to remain as quiet and calm, as stones and pebbles and the caverns of rocks.
