The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.38.27

शान्ताशेषविशेषस्य निरेषणविशेषतः ।
सत्तामसत्तां सदृशौ क आकलयितुं क्षमः ॥ २७ ॥

śāntāśeṣaviśeṣasya nireṣaṇaviśeṣataḥ |
sattāmasattāṃ sadṛśau ka ākalayituṃ kṣamaḥ || 27 ||

He who is indifferent to, and unconcerned with the endless particulars of the world; and who views the existent and inexistent in the same light, is truly a great soul and beyond all praise.
