The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.29.31

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
न मे वक्तुमशक्तत्वाद्युक्तिक्षय उपस्थितः ।
किंतु प्रश्नस्य कोट्यास्य तूष्णीमेवानघोत्तरम् ॥ ३१ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
na me vaktumaśaktatvādyuktikṣaya upasthitaḥ |
kiṃtu praśnasya koṭyāsya tūṣṇīmevānaghottaram || 31 ||

Vasishtha replied:—It is not owing to my inability to speak, nor want of argument on my part that made me hold my tongue; but it is the wide scope of your question that withheld me from giving its answer.
