The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एकः कर्ता च भोक्ता च क इवाङ्गोपपद्यते ।
भावनां सर्वभावेभ्यः समुत्सृज्य समुत्थितः ॥ २२ ॥

ekaḥ kartā ca bhoktā ca ka ivāṅgopapadyate |
bhāvanāṃ sarvabhāvebhyaḥ samutsṛjya samutthitaḥ || 22 ||

The thought that I am the doer and owner of a deed, overpowers all bodily exertions, and sprouts fourth with results, that are forever binding on the doer.
