The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
मिथ्यापुरुषबोधाय श्रृणु राघव शोभनाम् ।
इमामाख्यायिकां हासजननीं मदुदीरिताम् ॥ १५ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
mithyāpuruṣabodhāya śrṛṇu rāghava śobhanām |
imāmākhyāyikāṃ hāsajananīṃ madudīritām || 15 ||

Vasishtha related:—Now attend to me, Rama, to relate unto you the story of the false and fanciful man; which is pleasant to hear, and quite ludicrous and laughable from first to last.
