The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ध्यानेनाहं चिरं भ्रान्तस्तादृग्भिक्षुदिदृक्षया ।
द्वीपानि सप्त विपुलां कुलशैलसपर्वताम् ॥ ५ ॥

dhyānenāhaṃ ciraṃ bhrāntastādṛgbhikṣudidṛkṣayā |
dvīpāni sapta vipulāṃ kulaśailasaparvatām || 5 ||

I revolved over in my mind, and wandered wide and afar to find out where that man was, and so I traversed through all the continents and islands, and passed over all the hills and mountains on earth.
