The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.63.67

अवेदने परे शुद्धे वेदनं यज्जगत्स्थितम् ।
अकारणमचैतन्यं शून्यत्वेन यथा नभः ॥ ६७ ॥

avedane pare śuddhe vedanaṃ yajjagatsthitam |
akāraṇamacaitanyaṃ śūnyatvena yathā nabhaḥ || 67 ||

The knowledge of the known and the visible world, in the pure intellect of the unknown and invisible deity, resembles the view of the variegated skies, with their uncaused and insensible figures, in the causeless substratum of ever lasting and all pervading vacuity.
