The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शतरुद्रशतानीह सन्ति राम महान्ति हि ।
एतदेकादशं विद्धि संसारं प्रतिसंस्थितम् ॥ ५९ ॥

śatarudraśatānīha santi rāma mahānti hi |
etadekādaśaṃ viddhi saṃsāraṃ pratisaṃsthitam || 59 ||

There are a hundred and some hundreds of Rudras, who are known as very great beings in the world; among whom there are eleven only (Ekadasa Rudras), that are situated in so many worlds.
