The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

त्रेतायां द्वापरे चैव संस्मरामि मुनीश्वर ।
अदृष्टवेदवेदार्थान्स्वसंकेतविहारिणः ॥ ५० ॥

tretāyāṃ dvāpare caiva saṃsmarāmi munīśvara |
adṛṣṭavedavedārthānsvasaṃketavihāriṇaḥ || 50 ||

I have seen also many men in the Treta and Dwapara Yugas or the silver and brazen ages of the world, that were ignorant of the Vedas and unacquainted with their precepts; and followed the fictions of their own invention which led them to heterodoxy.
