The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.14.6

मेरोरीशानकोणस्थे पद्मरागमये दिवि ।
अस्ति कल्पतरुः श्रीमाञ्छृङ्गे चूत इति श्रुतः ॥ ६ ॥

merorīśānakoṇasthe padmarāgamaye divi |
asti kalpataruḥ śrīmāñchṛṅge cūta iti śrutaḥ || 6 ||

That there was in the north east summit of Mount Meru, a spot full of sparkling gems, where there was a kalpa tree of the chuta or mango kind, which yielded its fruits in all seasons of the year.
