The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.12.20

प्राकृताचारसंप्राप्ते कुर्वन्तः कर्म केवलम् ।
स्थिता विगतसंरम्भमपरा इव मेरवः ॥ २० ॥

prākṛtācārasaṃprāpte kurvantaḥ karma kevalam |
sthitā vigatasaṃrambhamaparā iva meravaḥ || 20 ||

They discharge their customary duties as prescribed by law and usage, but their minds remain as firm and unmoved, as a mountain at all the efforts of the body.
