The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

न बिभेति न वादत्ते वैवश्यं न च दीनताम् ।
समः स्वस्थमना मौनी धीरस्तिष्ठति शैलवत् ॥ ५५ ॥

na bibheti na vādatte vaivaśyaṃ na ca dīnatām |
samaḥ svasthamanā maunī dhīrastiṣṭhati śailavat || 55 ||

He is neither afraid at any fright nor humiliates himself nor loses his usual composure in any wise; but remains with his even temper and well composed mind as firm as a fixed rock.
