The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
एतानि तानि प्रोक्तानि त्वया बीजानि मानद ।
कतमस्य प्रयोगेण शीघ्रं तत्प्राप्यते पदम् ॥ १ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
etāni tāni proktāni tvayā bījāni mānada |
katamasya prayogeṇa śīghraṃ tatprāpyate padam || 1 ||

Rama said:—Of all, the seeds which you have spoken, say sir, which of these is the most essential one to lead us to the attainment of the supreme Brahma.
