तूष्णीं स्थित्वा क्षणं भूयश्चिन्तयामास भूतले ।
उपादेयो हि देहस्य न मे त्यागो न संश्रयः ॥ १२ ॥

tūṣṇīṃ sthitvā kṣaṇaṃ bhūyaścintayāmāsa bhūtale |
upādeyo hi dehasya na me tyāgo na saṃśrayaḥ || 12 ||

Then remaining for some time in his thoughtful mood on earth, he said; "neither is the leaving or having of this body, of any good or loss to me".
