The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नरो मोहसमुत्तीर्णः सततं स्वात्मचिन्तया ।
अन्तःशीतलतामेति स्वामृतेनेव चन्द्रमाः ॥ १८ ॥

naro mohasamuttīrṇaḥ satataṃ svātmacintayā |
antaḥśītalatāmeti svāmṛteneva candramāḥ || 18 ||

A man passing over the pool of his ignorance, and betaking himself to the contemplation of his soul; enjoys a coolness within him, as the cooling moon enjoys by the cold nectarious juice contained in her orb.
