The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.34.24

तस्यैकस्याविकल्पस्य चिद्दीपस्य प्रसादतः ।
उष्णोऽर्कः शिशिरश्चन्द्रो घनोऽद्रिर्विद्रुतं पयः ॥ २४ ॥

tasyaikasyāvikalpasya ciddīpasya prasādataḥ |
uṣṇo'rkaḥ śiśiraścandro ghano'drirvidrutaṃ payaḥ || 24 ||

It is by means of this immutable intellectual light alone, that we perceive the heat of the sun, the coldness of the moon, solidity of the rock and the fluidity of water.
