The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.33.23

अविरलकृतसृष्टिसर्वलीनं सततमजातमवर्धनं विशालम् ।
गुणशतजरठाभिजातदेहं तरुदलशायिनमर्भकं प्रपद्ये ॥ २३ ॥

aviralakṛtasṛṣṭisarvalīnaṃ satatamajātamavardhanaṃ viśālam |
guṇaśatajaraṭhābhijātadehaṃ tarudalaśāyinamarbhakaṃ prapadye || 23 ||

I rely on that godling that slept on the leaf of the fig tree (when his spirit floated on the surface of the waters); and that contains the universe in himself in his stupendous form of Viraj; that is neither born nor grown, but is always the whole by himself; and is possest of endless attributes of his own nature.
