The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.31.48

इयं सा हेलयाक्रान्तत्रैलोक्यतरुखण्डिका ।
जया स्फुरति मे पार्श्वे लता कल्पतरोरिव ॥ ४८ ॥

iyaṃ sā helayākrāntatrailokyatarukhaṇḍikā |
jayā sphurati me pārśve latā kalpataroriva || 48 ||

Here is the goddess Victory (Jaya), an easy earned attendant on Vishnu, and shines as a shoot of the kalpa tree, extending to the three worlds as an all-pervading plant.
