The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विकासिसितमन्दारमकरन्दारुणानिलाः ।
ते मेरुशिखरैस्तुल्या दैत्या दुर्लभतां गताः ॥ १८ ॥

vikāsisitamandāramakarandāruṇānilāḥ |
te meruśikharaistulyā daityā durlabhatāṃ gatāḥ || 18 ||

Ah! where have those Daityas fled, whose bodies were as big as the peaks of mount Meru once, and were fanned by the fragrant breeze, breathing with the odorous dust of Mandara flowers.
