The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

साक्रन्देन समं सर्वैः सुरविद्याधरोरगैः ।
पादसंवाहनं यस्य सुरराजेन वाञ्छितम् ॥ १८ ॥

sākrandena samaṃ sarvaiḥ suravidyādharoragaiḥ |
pādasaṃvāhanaṃ yasya surarājena vāñchitam || 18 ||

He forced the gods, Vidyadharas, serpents, and the king of the gods, to serve at his feet like his vassal train, and they were glad to serve him as their lord.
