The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रथमं द्वावहंकारावङ्गीकृत्यान्त्यलौकिकौ ।
तृतीयाहंकृतिस्त्याज्या लौकिकी दुःखदायिनी ॥ ५९ ॥

prathamaṃ dvāvahaṃkārāvaṅgīkṛtyāntyalaukikau |
tṛtīyāhaṃkṛtistyājyā laukikī duḥkhadāyinī || 59 ||

Belief in the first two kinds, raises men above the common level;but that in the lower kind, brings every misery on mankind.
