The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कल्पाभ्रपटलासारधारादलितपर्वतम् ।
महाशनिविनिष्पेषपिष्टोड्डीनकुलाचलम् ॥ ३९ ॥

kalpābhrapaṭalāsāradhārādalitaparvatam |
mahāśaniviniṣpeṣapiṣṭoḍḍīnakulācalam || 39 ||

Flights of arrows falling in showers like the diluvian rains, crushed the tops of mountains; and the friction of thunderbolts, broke down the bodies of the mountainous giants.
