The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अन्योन्यरूपास्त्वत्यन्तं विकल्पितशरीरकाः ।
मनःशक्तय एतस्मादिमा निर्यान्ति कोटयः ॥ ६५ ॥
anyonyarūpāstvatyantaṃ vikalpitaśarīrakāḥ |
manaḥśaktaya etasmādimā niryānti koṭayaḥ || 65 ||
All other bondages which bind the embodied soul to earth, are the works of the mind, which is the root of all worldly ties and affections.
