The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

क्षणेन पक्कणं प्राप्ताः संध्यायां दीर्घजङ्गलात् ।
श्मशानादिव वेतालाः श्मशानमितरन्महत् ॥ ६० ॥

kṣaṇena pakkaṇaṃ prāptāḥ saṃdhyāyāṃ dīrghajaṅgalāt |
śmaśānādiva vetālāḥ śmaśānamitaranmahat || 60 ||

We passed the great jungle in a short time, and reached the Chandala's abode in the evening; as the demons pass amidst the funeral ground, to rest in their charnel vaults at night.
