The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उदारगुणयुक्ता ये विहरन्तीह देहिनः ।
धरातलेन्दवः सङ्गाद्भृशं शीतलयन्ति ते ॥ ३० ॥

udāraguṇayuktā ye viharantīha dehinaḥ |
dharātalendavaḥ saṅgādbhṛśaṃ śītalayanti te || 30 ||

Of all embodied beings, that move about on the surface of the earth, it is the man of profound understanding only, who sheds his benign influence like cooling moon-beams all around him.
