The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तस्याः कल्पाग्निभीमेन तपसा हि महागिरिः ।
बभूव तेन ज्वलितो जज्वालेव ततो जगत् ॥ २८ ॥

tasyāḥ kalpāgnibhīmena tapasā hi mahāgiriḥ |
babhūva tena jvalito jajvāleva tato jagat || 28 ||

The great mountain was set in a blaze, by the fervour of her devotion; and that flame spread to all the worlds, like the blaze of a portentous meteor.
