The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हा वक्षः काचवैधुर्यगिरीन्द्रतटसुन्दर ।
नाद्य सिंहादि यौकं तद्धृतं रोमवनं तथा ॥ ३६ ॥

hā vakṣaḥ kācavaidhuryagirīndrataṭasundara |
nādya siṃhādi yaukaṃ taddhṛtaṃ romavanaṃ tathā || 36 ||

O my breast! which was as fair as the side of the snowy mountain, even without my glassy ornaments; why dost thou not show thy hairs, which were as large as leeches that feed on lion's flesh?
