The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ततो राज्ञी मृतेत्युच्चैः कृत्वा रोदनमाकुलम् ।
परिवारस्तवाशेषं कृतवानौर्ध्वदेहिकम् ॥ ८ ॥

tato rājñī mṛtetyuccaiḥ kṛtvā rodanamākulam |
parivārastavāśeṣaṃ kṛtavānaurdhvadehikam || 8 ||

Then the family raised a loud cry that their queen was dead, and wept bitterly for sometime, after which they performed thy funeral ceremonies.
