The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.37.27

यदम्बुदैरिवोड्डीनं शस्त्रवृन्दैर्नभोङ्गणे ।
तद्दृष्टं वीचिवलनैर्लोलैः प्लुतमिवार्णवे ॥ २७ ॥

yadambudairivoḍḍīnaṃ śastravṛndairnabhoṅgaṇe |
taddṛṣṭaṃ vīcivalanairlolaiḥ plutamivārṇave || 27 ||

The flights of arrows which seemed as fragments of clouds in the air from below, appeared as waves of the sea, when viewed by the celestials from above.
