The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संशान्तशङ्खसंघाततूर्यनिर्ह्राददुन्दुभि ।
भूतलाकाशसंलीनसर्वपांसुपयोधरम् ॥ १७ ॥

saṃśāntaśaṅkhasaṃghātatūryanirhrādadundubhi |
bhūtalākāśasaṃlīnasarvapāṃsupayodharam || 17 ||

The musical instruments, the drum and conch-shell were all silent, and a thick cloud of dust, covered the face of the earth and sky.
