The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.26.34

उद्यानपुष्पखण्डेभ्यो रुदद्भ्यो भ्रमरारवैः ।
पूतिगन्धो विनिर्याति स्वामोदापरनामकः ॥ ३४ ॥

udyānapuṣpakhaṇḍebhyo rudadbhyo bhramarāravaiḥ |
pūtigandho viniryāti svāmodāparanāmakaḥ || 34 ||

Here the humble bees, are humming in grief upon the scattered flowers in our garden, which now sends forth a putrid smell instead of their former fragrance.
