The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एकार्णवमिवोच्छूनं गम्भीरं निर्मलान्तरम् ।
कोमलं कोमलमरुदासङ्गसुखभोगदम् ॥ २ ॥

ekārṇavamivocchūnaṃ gambhīraṃ nirmalāntaram |
komalaṃ komalamarudāsaṅgasukhabhogadam || 2 ||

They saw a vast expanse as that of the wide extended universal ocean, deep and translucent within; but soft with etherial mildness, and a cooling breeze infusing heavenly delight.
