The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

वसिष्ठ इति नाम्नासौ तस्याभूदिन्दुसुन्दरी ।
नाम्ना त्वरुन्धती भार्या भूमिव्योमन्यरुन्धती ॥ २ ॥

vasiṣṭha iti nāmnāsau tasyābhūdindusundarī |
nāmnā tvarundhatī bhāryā bhūmivyomanyarundhatī || 2 ||

His name was Vasishtha, and that of his wife Arundhati; who was as fair as the moon, and as the star of the same name on earth.
