The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

द्रष्टुरदर्शनदृश्यानां मध्ये यद्दर्शनं स्थितम् ।
साध्यो तदवधानेन स्वात्मानमवबुध्यसे ॥ ७५ ॥

draṣṭuradarśanadṛśyānāṃ madhye yaddarśanaṃ sthitam |
sādhyo tadavadhānena svātmānamavabudhyase || 75 ||

You will be able to know your soul, O good Rama! if you will take it in the light of the sight or faculty of vision, that lies between the looker and the object looked upon.
