The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 2.17.29

त्रीणि ग्रन्थसहस्राणि व्याख्यानाख्यायिकामयम् ।
इत्थं जगदहंभावरूपस्थितिमुपागतम् ॥ २९ ॥

trīṇi granthasahasrāṇi vyākhyānākhyāyikāmayam |
itthaṃ jagadahaṃbhāvarūpasthitimupāgatam || 29 ||

It contains three thousand stanzas full of explanations and narratives, showing the existence of the world to be a form (or development) of the essence of the Ego.
