The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मनःप्रशान्तमत्यच्छं विश्रान्तं विगतभ्रमम् ।
अनीहं विगताभीष्टं नाभिवाञ्छति नोज्झति ॥ ४९ ॥

manaḥpraśāntamatyacchaṃ viśrāntaṃ vigatabhramam |
anīhaṃ vigatābhīṣṭaṃ nābhivāñchati nojjhati || 49 ||

The mind that is at peace and rest, that is clear and free from errors, and without any attempt or desire, doth neither forsake nor wish for the world.
