The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तत्त्वं कथय मे किंचिद्येनास्य जगतः प्रभो ।
वेद्मि पूर्वापरं धातुश्चेष्टितस्यानवस्थितेः ॥ २१ ॥

tattvaṃ kathaya me kiṃcidyenāsya jagataḥ prabho |
vedmi pūrvāparaṃ dhātuśceṣṭitasyānavasthiteḥ || 21 ||

Tell me the manner by which I may have a knowledge of the past and future events of the world, and the nature of the unsteady works of its creator.
