The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.240; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

tatra bhinna-hetujayoḥ, yathā —
vilasantam avekṣya devakī
sutam utphulla-vilocanaṃ puraḥ |
prabalām api malla-maṇḍalīṃ
himam uṣṇaṃ ca jalaṃ dṛśor dadhe
||2.4.240||
atra harṣa-viṣādayoḥ sandhiḥ |

Two bhāvas, harṣa and viṣāda from differing sources, join together: “Seeing her son with joyful eyes in front of her, and seeing the strong wrestlers as well, Devakī began to shed both cool and hot tears.”
