विराजते यत्र नित्यं
दुर्गा दुर्गति-नाशिनी
सिंहारूढा भद्रकाली
चण्ड-मुण्ड-विनाशिनी
virājate yatra nityaṃ
durgā durgati-nāśinī
siṃhārūḍhā bhadrakālī
caṇḍa-muṇḍa-vināśinī
virājate—is splendidly maniufested; yatra—where; nityam—always; durgā— goddess Durgā; durgati—troubles; nāśinī—destroying; siṃha—on a lion; ārūḍhā— riding; bhadrakālī—Bhadrakālī; caṇḍa-muṇḍa-vināśinī—killing the cruel and wicked.
English translation of verse 6.19.40:
Goddess Durgā, who removes all troubles and kills the cruel and wicked, always stays there.
